Alex Drummond may have just solved summer dressing in one very flowy Amazon find.
Alex, who is expecting a baby boy this fall with husband Mauricio Scott, recently hopped on Instagram after one of Sofia’s end-of-year school events and shared the dress she wore for the occasion. As it turns out, it checks off a lot of important boxes: comfortable, bump-friendly, affordable, cute with sneakers, and blessedly, it has pockets.
“This dress is Amazon and it comes in so many colors,” Alex said in her Instagram story, explaining that she had already picked it up in black, too. (That’s how you know she means business!)
Alex wore the dress in a soft, pale green shade and styled it with gold sneakers, which feels exactly right for a toddler school picnic situation. Cute, but not too fussy. Pulled together, but still ready for walking across grass, chasing a little one, and carrying seventeen things that may or may not belong to you. And it’s also great for the bump! “I just sized up from what I normally wear,” Alex explained.
The dress is currently 30% off on Amazon for about $30 and it comes in a whole bunch of colors, including black, pink, blue, brown, and several polka-dot prints. Alex also noted that it looks shorter on her than it does on the model, explaining that it’s “more of a midi length” because she’s so tall. (Though the bump might take back a couple of inches!)
“I feel like this is just gonna be a dress that I live in this summer because it’s super comfy, super simple,” Alex said, adding that she loves the “ruched neckline situation.”
