Christmas is undoubtedly the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be one of the busiest! Between shopping for Christmas gifts and planning holiday parties it often feels like there's a marathon to run before the big day even arrives. That’s why some people opt out of cooking on Christmas in favor of something that might make their lives a little easier: dining at a restaurant.
The best part is that most of these restaurants offer heat-and-serve options or takeout, meaning you can pick up the food and enjoy it at home together. Swing by your favorite coffee shop and enjoy a little pick-me-up after all of the gift-wrapping and Christmas activities with family. And then, order a steakhouse dinner from Del Frisco's or Morton's to enjoy in the comfort of your Christmas PJs!

You can count your lucky claws because Red Lobster will, in fact, be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas! That means you can enjoy holiday specials, like lobster pappardelle pasta, lobster bisque, and lemon basil mahi, for dine-in or delivery on Christmas day.
Applebee's
Much like your local mall in the 2000s, Applebee's encounters one of its busiest times of the year on Christmas! While you're welcome to dine in, you might want to consider ordering online if you'd prefer to skip the wait.
Benihana
A hearty sushi spread calls for celebration any time of the year, and Christmas is no exception. Fortunately, Benihana feels the same way—so the chain stays open on the holiday!
Bonefish Grill
A bowl full of seafood sounds like the ideal Christmas gift, and Bonefish Grill seems like the place to provide it! Sadly, the restaurant will be closed on December 25 this year.
Boston Market
If your Boston Market meal cravings don't stop even on the holidays, don't worry. It's open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so you can enjoy your favorite rotisserie chicken before or after opening presents.
Buffalo Wild Wings

Carrabba's Italian Grill
Our mouths are watering at the thought of an Italian Christmas dinner. Carrabba's Italian Grill won't be open on the holiday, but offers some festive meals the night before on Christmas Eve.
Chart House
If you have a bigger family or group of loved ones, then Chart House should definitely be on your radar during the holidays. It's open on Christmas, but has some sweet deals on their to-go menu as well!
Chili's

Cracker Barrel
The ol' reliable Cracker Barrel will be down for the count on Christmas, but you can bet they'll be open for business on Christmas Eve. ('Til about 2 p.m., that is!) The restaurant also has a heat-and-serve option on the holiday, so you can always make that on Christmas Day!
Del Taco
Can you enjoy some tasty tacos on Christmas Eve? You sure can at Del Taco! The Tex-Mex joint, however, isn't open on Christmas Day.
Denny's
Your favorite diner chain will remain open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but hours may vary depending on the location (find your nearest one here!). Denny's is also offering family-sized Turkey Packs that you can order in advance and enjoy at home.
Domino's Pizza
Skip the dishes this year and order a steaming, cheesy pizza pie from Doms! You can expect many stores to be open on Christmas Eve and Day, but use the store locator to call ahead and confirm.
Dunkin' Donuts
Pick up a box of coffee or a dozen doughnuts this Christmas. Some Dunkin' Donuts will be open on December 24 and 25, but hours may vary. Call your local store first to find out what their holiday hours will be.
Fogo de Chão
Your local Fogo de Chão will be open on both Christmas Eve, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and Christmas Day, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Better yet, the Brazilian steakhouse is also offering holiday to-go packages that have everything you need for a decadent at-home family dinner.
IHOP
According to IHOP's Christmas hours, you can dig in to a big stack of pancakes this Christmas at the International House of Pancakes. You can also enjoy IHOP's holiday menu, which always includes fun festive treats.
Legal Sea Foods
Grab your feast of the seven fishes at Legal Sea Foods! The oyster bar and restaurant will have most of its locations open on both Christmas Eve and Day.
McDonald's
Hey, you can't beat a fast-food classic, right? Most McDonald’s locations will be open on Christmas Day! However, hours vary depending on location so give your local store a call before heading out.
Morton's Steakhouse
Treat you and yours to a heavenly steak dinner this Christmas. Morton's Steakhouse will be open for holiday meals both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Check out their three-course Christmas dinner, that features a winter salad, chateaubriand (a cut of tenderloin), and a chocolate cake for dessert. Morton's also has a robust to-go menu if you'd prefer to enjoy a feast at home.
