The Easter Bunny is making his rounds soon—but what he’s delivering changes from stop to stop along his routine! DoorDash’s new report reveals the most popular Easter candy in every state, and his basket is full of surprises.
According to the latest Easter trends research, one treat is hopping way ahead of the rest: Reese’s Peanut Butter Bunnies. Are you surprised? These iconic candies claimed the top spot in a whopping 35 states, including heavy hitters like California, New York, Texas, and Florida. So, if you’re biting into that creamy, peanut-buttery goodness this Easter… you’re in very good company.
Similarly, Reese’s Pieces Easter Gift Bag (the fun, carrot-shaped package filled with Reese's Pieces), also emerged as a standout favorite, ranking first in seven states, including Alaska, Vermont, and Wisconsin. This one also took the top spot in The Pioneer Woman’s home state of Oklahoma. The treat offers a playful, bite-sized twist on the beloved flavor combination.
But not every state is following the Reese’s rulebook! The map above shows some seriously fun regional twists. Four states, Colorado, Maine, Washington, and Wyoming, are all about the surprise-filled magic of Kinder Joy Eggs. Meanwhile, Delaware, Hawaii, and Virginia are embracing a tangier vibe with Haribo Sour Easter Grass, proving that not everyone wants their Easter treats to be strictly chocolate-y.
And then there’s New Mexico, standing on its own with a slightly more sophisticated pick: the Lindt Dark Chocolate Gold Bunny. It’s the only state going for this gold foil-wrapped dark chocolate option. Talk about being festively fancy!
So, while some states stick with familiar, crowd-pleasing classics, others opt for treats that feel a bit more premium or unexpected. The mix of winners highlights the fun of the season: Easter baskets are personal, nostalgic, and plenty indulgent, with each state putting its own spin on the holiday sugar rush.
No matter which candy is your personal favorite, they’re all Easter Bunny-approved!
