I don't know about you, but when summer rolls around, I start looking for every excuse to make fresh corn on the cob. It's sweet, it's easy, and it goes with just about everything coming off the grill. This grilled corn with hot honey butter is one of my favorite ways to give classic corn a little extra personality—and trust me, it's a good one!
The magic is all in the hot honey butter. A simple combination of butter, honey, and hot sauce melts into every kernel as the corn cooks, creating the perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and buttery flavor. Wrapping the corn in foil keeps it tender and juicy, so you don't have to worry about it drying out on the grill.
One of the best parts? This easy grilled corn recipe comes together in just 15 minutes. Serve it alongside hot dogs, grilled chicken, or ribs, and watch it disappear. Don't be surprised if everyone asks for the recipe!
Can you make the hot honey butter ahead of time?
Absolutely. The hot honey butter can be mixed up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Let it soften at room temperature before spreading it on the corn.
Can you adjust the spice level of the hot honey butter?
Yes. Use less hot sauce for a milder flavor or add extra hot sauce before serving if you like more heat. The honey helps balance the spice, making this recipe easy to customize.
How do you store leftover grilled corn?
Store leftover corn in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat it in the microwave, oven, or on the grill before serving.
