Don't worry about committing to another four seasons—it's a limited series!
1923
This Yellowstone prequel stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Cara and Jacob Dutton, the leaders of the ranch-owning family at the time. If you love a 20th century period piece, this one is for you. (This one will make more sense once you've watched 1883, the first Yellowstone prequel.)It completed its second (and apparently final) season in early 2025.
Marshals
Marshals premiered in March, bringing back Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton. The series picks up after Yellowstone with Kayce now working as a U.S. Marshal in Montana—and doing it while carrying a new loss. It’s already been officially renewed for a second season.
Dutton Ranch
Beth and Rip are officially back! Dutton Ranch continues their story after the events of Yellowstone, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser reprising their original roles. The series premieres on Friday, May 15, 2026, with a special two-episode launch on Paramount+. More recent details suggest a bigger expansion of the story: Finn Little is back as Carter, and Annette Bening and Ed Harris are confirmed in major roles.
The Madison
The Madison shifts the focus away from the Dutton family and toward a new story set in Montana’s Madison River Valley. He’ll star as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a tough, fish-out-of-water mobster who, after a run-in with Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa King season 3, sets out to build a new life (and a new criminal empire) in Frisco. No official premiere date has been announced yet, but it is currently expected as part of the 2027 season.
F.A.S.T. (Upcoming)
F.A.S.T. is an upcoming Taylor Sheridan action thriller that marks his return to feature filmmaking rather than television. The project stars Brandon Sklenar as a special forces commando who leads a DEA strike team against CIA-protected drug dealers. It’s been described as a high-octane crime story, with Sheridan writing the script and Ben Richardson attached to direct. LaKeith Stanfield, Jason Clarke, Sam Claflin, Trevante Rhodes, and Juliana Canfield will also star. The Warner Bros. film is set for a theatrical release on April 23, 2027.
Call of Duty (Upcoming)

Sicario
Sheridan's first film as a screenwriter stars Emily Blunt as an FBI agent who's enlisted into a task force to bring down a brutal Mexican drug cartel. It's an action thriller and received critical acclaim in 2011 for both the acting and the writing.
Hell or High Water
The phrase "come hell or high water" typically means "do whatever needs to be done, no matter the circumstances." This meaning plays into the plot of Sheridan's second foray into the Western genre, which was released in 2016. Wind River
