Fans of Virgin River have been anxiously waiting to find out what exactly made Jack gasp in the final moments of Season 6—and Season 7 wastes absolutely no time delivering the answer. In fact, the new season begins with a jaw-dropping revelation: a major character is dead.
The Season 6 finale ended on a tense cliffhanger when Jack rushed to the home of Charmaine after she mysteriously failed to show up for his and Mel’s wedding. As he searched the house, he opened the door to the twins’ room, saw something shocking, and the screen cut to black. Now viewers finally know what he saw, and it’s far worse than anyone expected.
According to Netflix, a horrifying discovery becomes clear when the Season 7 premiere picks up: Calvin, Charmaine’s dangerous ex and the twins’ father, is dead.
