Rip and Beth’s Most Memorable ‘Yellowstone’ Moments Of All Time

Saying “I love you” for the first time is hard! Beth feels that it’s coming after a tender moment. But she stops Rip from doing so, saying "Tell me when it saves me." And boy, does he get that timing right later in the episode when he saves her from would-be assassins and speaks those three words to calm her down.

Earlier in the season, Beth hints that she wants to be called Rip’s “wife,” though she fears she won’t be enough because she can’t have children. In this episode, her father John advises her that if Rip won’t propose to her, she should propose to him. And that’s exactly what she does, as Rip lovingly accepts.

While recovering in the hospital, Beth meets a troubled teen named Carter who reminds her a lot of Rip when he was young. And though Rip is initially reluctant to take him in, they become his guardian and de facto family, eating a cozy small dinner of Hamburger Helper.

While they had initially discussed finding the perfect spot just for the two of them, Beth decided an impromptu ceremony at Yellowstone Ranch was a better idea. And it was so spur of the moment that Beth kidnapped a priest to make it happen. Decked out in a gold dress and fur coat, Beth did it her way, as always.

Rip leaves Montana for the very first time, traveling to Texas for work. Beth can’t stay away, of course, and comes to visit him for a romantic getaway in cattle country. As the Yellowstone Ranch back in Montana is threatened, you can see the wheels turning in their heads, wondering if their forever is somewhere else.

After the death of her father and the sale of Yellowstone Ranch, Beth buys a smaller ranch to start a new life with Rip and Carter. Will life stay as serene and happy as the series finale depicts? Knowing Beth, probably not. And that’s what the spinoff is for!
