Being a grandma Ree-Ree is hard work.
Over the weekend, Ree Drummond shared a video on Instagram that shows exactly why. In it, she's dancing all around her kitchen with her granddaughter Sofia to "Let It Go" from Frozen and fully committing to what she calls an "interpretive" performance of the entire song. (Yes, we really do mean the whole thing.) But the result is about as delightful as you'd expect!
Sofia sits happily in her arms while Ree spins, sways, and sings along, and at one point the little one breaks into the sweetest giggles. You can hear her laughing as the two make their way across the room, clearly having the time of their lives.
Ree summed it up perfectly in her caption: "Highlights from our interpretive Frozen kitchen dance last weekend. Watch Sofia!! 🥹 (This wore me smooth out, btw. We did the whole song. 😂)"
Honestly, that last part might be the most relatable detail. A full-length Frozen dance number is a serious workout! Alex Drummond loved the moment just as much as everyone else. She jumped into the comments to write, "New core memory 🥹🥹" and added, "Also Sofia's new favorite song unlocked!!!"
Which means Ree may want to start stretching now, because this probably won't be the last time "Let It Go" plays in that kitchen. And with another grandbaby on the way, things around the ranch are about to get even livelier! For now, though, it's just Ree-Ree, Sofia, and a full-length performance of "Let It Go" echoing through the kitchen—and judging by the baby's giggles, it was worth every bit of the workout.
