Little Sofia already knows there’s something special about her grandma Ree Drummond’s collection at Walmart. While The Pioneer Woman line is chockfull of charming kitchenware, with its cheerful colors and pretty patterns, Sofia seems to have a much more important reason for paying attention.
Any guesses? Here’s a hint: it has to do with food. She is a Drummond, after all!
Alex Drummond recently shared a photo from a Walmart shopping trip with her daughter Sofia, and Ree couldn’t help but imagine what was going through her granddaughter’s mind as she spotted a display of her collection. And based on Ree’s caption, Sofia may already have a very personal connection to those familiar bowls—one that has nothing to do with what they look like and everything to do with what goes inside them.
“Alex sent me this pic from Walmart,” Ree wrote, sharing the sweet snapshot with her followers. Then she offered her own explanation for the adorable moment: “She’s thinking ‘Ree Ree gives me snacks in that bowl...’”
Ree knows her granddaughter well! And if that’s really what Sofia was thinking, she’s certainly focused on the important things. While she may not understand that the colorful pieces lining the Walmart shelves are part of her grandma’s collection, she certainly knows exactly what happens when one of those bowls makes an appearance: food is coming.
And who knows? Maybe one day Sofia will grow up to have a favorite Pioneer Woman pattern of her own. For now, though, she seems perfectly happy with whichever bowl comes filled with the tastiest treats.
