Before Alex Drummond knew she was pregnant with baby number two, she didn’t have the usual early clues. There was no nausea, no overwhelming exhaustion, and no sudden food aversions. Instead, there was just one thing she kept noticing: incredibly vivid dreams.
While sharing the behind-the-scenes story of how she and husband Mauricio Scott discovered they were expecting again, Alex mentioned that she hadn’t been feeling many pregnancy symptoms before they officially found out. The one thing that stood out, though, was what she described as “super vivid dreams.”
That was it!
At the time, Alex and Mauricio had just started trying for baby number two and were getting close to the point where she could take a pregnancy test. She wasn’t sure what the result would be yet and aside from those unusually intense dreams, nothing really felt different. The next morning, of course, everything changed!
In the video Alex later shared with followers, she and Mauricio stand together in their bathroom and count down before looking at the test at the same time. A few seconds later, they realize what they’re seeing: a positive result. Cue the laughter, the disbelief, and the realization that they’re about to have “two under two.”
Since then, things started to feel a little more like the typical first trimester experience. Alex recently joked that she’s been in what she calls the “first trimester trenches,” dealing with nausea, fatigue, and all the other early pregnancy symptoms that tend to show up once things get going.
But before any of that kicked in, there was just one tiny hint that something might be happening: some pretty crazy dreams. Turns out they were trying to tell her something!
