Alex Drummond finally has a name for her baby boy! Well, probably. And no, she’s not telling us. 😂
With the little cowboy’s September arrival getting awfully close, Alex shared a very important update during her latest Instagram Q&A. When someone asked whether she and Mauricio had settled on a name yet, her answer was promising!
“Yes! Well we’re like 90% sure...but not sharing until he’s born!” Alex wrote.
Honestly, we’ll take 90 percent. This particular item has been hanging around on Alex’s pregnancy to-do list for quite some time! Back in April, she and Mauricio had “a few contenders” and planned to use their babymoon to make the final decision. “Boy names are HARD,” Alex admitted at the time. Apparently Cabo offered plenty of sunshine and guacamole, but no definitive baby-name revelation.
By June, they had gone in the opposite direction. “Still do not have a name, still are not even close on the name,” Alex said. She joked that they might simply arrive at the hospital with a few options and “let the baby speak to us and tell us who he is.”
And just last week, “DECIDE ON NAME” was still sitting at the very top—in all caps, naturally—of Alex’s 15-item “Before baby checklist”. There was also a nursery to finish, a hospital bag to pack, and a double stroller to assemble, but priorities are priorities! Now, with baby boy due September 21, it sounds like Alex and Mauricio have finally found the one. Or at least the 90-percent one.
As for what it is? We’ll just have to meet him first!
