10 Most Adorable Moments Between Alex Drummond's Dog and Baby Sofia
It’s been a year filled with furry snuggles!
Alex and Mauricio’s golden retriever George has been the king of the castle since he joined their family in early 2023, but these days, he has plenty of company in the spotlight! Alex and Mauricio welcomed their first baby, Sofia, in December 2024, and she and George have been making everyone melt ever since. Now, with a baby brother joining the crew in September, George and Sofia may need to team up as the family’s original two troublemakers.
Known by the Drummonds as "the world's friendliest dog," George has always been a ball of energy and fun. Whether he's frolicking in the backyard or hamming it up for family photos, he's never had a problem staying the center of attention. But now, George is showing a whole new side of himself as he adjusts to life with a growing toddler—and another one on the way! (Wait until you see him trying to play fetch with tiny Sofia. 😭)
Sofia and George have had more than a year to settle into their sibling routine and the evidence is pretty darn adorable! He’s watched over her naps, joined her on family walks, let her borrow his toys, and even tolerated the occasional baby climb.
