Be honest: how many baby showers have you attended where you've played the same games? Measure the bump with tape, see who can diaper a doll the fastest, repeat. If you're hosting for a friend or family member, it might be time to ditch the predictable and switch things up with some new baby shower ideas that guests may not see coming. Ahead, you'll find 25 surprising baby shower games to keep the laughs coming and the party feeling fresh.
You'll be happy to know that lots of these games are printable (so, so easy!) or can be put together in a flash (a few plastic pacifiers and you're good to go). Some are silly ("Draw the Baby" is sure to have everyone in hysterics), while others are downright sentimental like guessing which traits the baby will inherit from Mom and Dad or sharing fond memories of the mother-to-be. You'll also find some inspo from Alex Drummond's baby shower, too! Partner your games with some pretty desserts, and your party is sure to be a success. Mix in games between bites and opening baby shower gifts, and Mom will never forget this fun gathering with everyone she loves!
Practice makes perfect, right? Divide guests into teams and give each one a baby doll, diapers, and a blindfold. Relay-style, have players race to diaper the doll while blindfolded.
Alex played this one at her baby shower! Have guests predict baby's arrival by marking their name on the due date they think is closest. When the time comes, the person with the best guess wins bragging rights—and maybe a small prize.

Advice for Mom
Darcy Miller
There are no prizes for this game! Actually, there is one prize: the mom-to-be taking home lots of amazing advice from the parents in attendance to the baby shower.
For this printable game, Mom-to-be will fill out a trait card as the answer sheet. Guests will fill out their own trait cards, checking the traits that they think she wants the baby to inherit from either herself or Dad.
If you want an extra competitive party, try this game. It's similar to beer pong, only you'll swap ping-pong balls for pacifiers and beer for the mother-to-be's favorite beverage!

Baby Shower Bingo
Play Party Plan
Bingo! Print these baby shower bingo cards for a baby-themed twist on the classic game. It's perfect if you just want to print, pick up a few prizes, and simply play.
For this one, you'll pour sprinkles into a baby bottle, then cover the mouth (no nipple) with a piece of paper or double-sided tape punched with a medium hole. Turn a second bottle upside down, press the openings together, and tape them securely. To win, players must shake and maneuver the bottles until all the sprinkles move into the empty bottle.
To have a real bundle of fun, hand each guest a paper plate and a marker. With the plate balanced on their head, have everyone draw their best "baby portrait." The results are guaranteed to be hilarious.
