From big family milestones to joyful daily routines, Alex Drummond’s 2026 has been off to a strong start! For Ree Drummond’s daughter, the first two months of the new year have been filled with special celebrations and fun events galore, but the quieter everyday moments in the midst of all the excitement have been just as heartwarming.
Over the weekend, Alex took a moment to reflect on some of her favorite memories from the past two months, and, based on the photos she shared on Instagram, it’s safe to say that her year has been an unforgettable one so far! “2026 I like you already!! 😌,” Alex captioned her post.
Among all the big occasions and simple pleasures making Alex’s new year so special, some of the standouts of 2026 have been the major life events in her family. First and foremost, Alex has been able to witness big turning points in her daughter, Sofia’s, one-year-old journey like climbing up the stairs on her own and growing a set of baby teeth. And she’s also gotten to celebrate a landmark moment for her husband, Mauricio—turning 29 years old—and a new chapter for her sister, Paige—welcoming home a puppy, Murphy!
In addition to all the exciting Drummond-family milestones of 2026, Alex has also been able to honor some significant moments in her friends’ lives, such as engagements, weddings, and pregnancies. On Instagram, Alex uploaded a shot of her friend shopping for wedding dresses, alongside a few photos of her friends’ baby bumps and baby showers.
