We had a busy day in the big city yesterday that involved a soccer game, an action movie, and Easter dress shopping with two teenage girls over 5’11”.
Which one of these three things do you think ended in tears?
Anyway, we were all ready for a peaceful Good Friday on the ranch today.
Peaceful, of course, doesn’t necessarily mean there isn’t work to do.
There are some cattle to gather this morning.
The animals on the ranch don’t observe holidays.
Marlboro Man observes holidays. After the animals are taken care of.
So after the cattle are gathered…
And the work is done for the day…
We’re going to settle in and enjoy the rest of our day together.
Maybe make some Hot Cross Buns.
Maybe boil the eggs for dyeing tomorrow.
Maybe go up against mom in a round or two of Just Dance 3.
She beat everyone last time. Creamed ’em, actually.
That mom. She’s got moves like no other!
