Alex Drummond just shared a really sweet update about her baby boy!
After mentioning earlier this week that she was heading in for her anatomy scan and feeling that very specific kind of calm-but-still-a-little-nervous that comes with these appointments, Alex is now back with happy news. And thankfully, it’s exactly the update everyone hoped for.
“Anatomy scan went perfect!! 10 fingers 10 toes! So thankful 🙏🥺 it isn’t lost on me the blessing of growing another healthy lil baby,” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a strip of ultrasound photos.
(So yes, baby boy is still very much a baby boy, and more importantly, he’s doing great!)
Alex is a little over halfway through her pregnancy now, with the baby due in September, so this is one of those big checkpoints that makes everything start to feel even more real. She’s been pretty open lately about how this pregnancy has been going, too. Earlier on, she shared that the nausea was “pretty much gone” and that she was mostly just “TIRED & getting way hungrier,” which honestly sounds like a very normal second trimester report.
Now she gets to move forward with one more reassuring update under her belt—and that has to feel so good!
It’s already been such a full season for Alex and Mauricio between family trips, pregnancy updates, and chasing after little Sofia, who’s about to have a very big year herself as a new big sister. And somewhere in the middle of all that, Alex is growing a healthy baby boy and keeping everybody in the loop with these little glimpses along the way. Really sweet news all around!
There are still a few months to go before the Scotts meet their newest little guy, but for now, it sounds like everything is looking just the way they hoped. ❤️
