There’s nothing like a great exercise dress—especially one that doesn’t require any actual exercising to look cute. 😂
Alex Drummond recently shared a little try-on from home, showing off a new Abercrombie active dress that checks several very important summer boxes: It’s comfortable, it’s easy, and it still looks like a complete outfit. No standing in front of the closet wondering which top goes with which shorts. The dress has already handled that situation!
Alex chose the YPB studioFLEX Active Mini Dress in maroon, which has the sweetest lilac scrunchie trim around the square neckline and straps. She modeled it from a few angles, and the soft, stretchy fit worked beautifully with her growing baby bump.
Sadly, the 20% discount Alex mentioned when she first shared the dress has since ended. It’s currently listed at $85, so it’s more of a little activewear splurge—but the details may help justify it. Abercrombie describes the studioFLEX fabric as lightweight, buttery soft, and nonrestrictive, making the dress suitable for low-impact activities or simply wearing around all day. It also has built-in shorts with a pull-down feature and a “bathroom-friendly” liner, which is the sort of practical detail that deserves its own round of applause. And (!!!) at the time of publishing, it’s listed as buy one, get one 50% off.
This isn’t Alex’s first cozy Abercrombie find, either. She previously shared a long ribbed cardigan from the brand and declared, “I will be living in this fall/winter!” Apparently, she knows her way around the comfortable part of the website.
The exercise dress is sporty enough for a walk, but the contrasting trim gives it a fun and feminine look that could easily go to lunch or run errands afterward. And at this stage of summer—and pregnancy—one outfit that can do all three is worth serious consideration!
