After Alex Drummond and her husband, Mauricio, touched down in sunny Cabo for their babymoon last week (which happily coincided with their fifth wedding anniversary), their dreamy getaway was filled with beachfront views, poolside lounging, milestone celebrations, and—of course—fun outfits. Because Alex wanted to spend the entirety of her vacation relaxing (there would be no action-packed itinerary for this pregnant mama!), she packed a suitcase full of chic, breezy pieces that were perfect for reclining on a lounge chair—along with a few cute out-to-dinner looks.
Every day, Alex and Mauricio sat by the resort’s beachside pool, and every day, Alex showed up in another cute outfit. In addition to her floral one-piece bathing suit and a white cotton sundress that she wore, Alex also sported a striped midi dress in shades of pink, purple, and yellow.
On their last full day in Cabo, Alex threw on the halter-neck, loose-fitting garment covered in diagonal stripes, which she styled with a straw bucket hat, a canvas tote from the resort, and dainty gold earrings. “This is our pool fit check,” Alex announced in the video, while Mauricio made an appearance in the background. “Today’s little swimsuit cover-up—perfect for the bump,” she added.
Of course, Mauricio had to weigh in. “Lovely piece,” he chimed in.
Once the couple made their way over to the pool, Alex gave her followers a closer look at the dress. While Mauricio was working on evening out his “sock tan,” she explained that she’d be spending the afternoon under the umbrella. “I’m on operation stay out of the sun,” Alex joked while flipping to the front-facing camera, which highlighted her colorful cover-up.
