Baby boy is coming soon—and Alex Drummond has a list to prove it!
Alex is officially in the home stretch of her second pregnancy and she recently shared everything she hopes to accomplish before welcoming their next bundle of joy. “These were the things that came to mind for anyone wondering 😂😂,” she wrote beneath her very detailed “Before baby checklist.” There are 15 items in total and every single circle is still sitting there unchecked. Deep breaths, Alex!
At the very top (in all caps, of course) is DECIDE ON NAME. No pressure! Alex and Mauricio have been wrestling with that one for months and she previously admitted they may arrive at the hospital with a few options, then wait to see which one suits him.
There’s plenty left to do in the nursery, too. Alex wants to clear out the closet, paint, hang the light fixture and drapes, and put up the artwork. Then, there are the less decorative—but very necessary—jobs, like registering baby boy with the pediatrician, installing the car-seat base, setting up the double stroller, packing her hospital bag, and creating a postpartum area in her bedroom with a bassinet, glider, and cart.
And then there’s Sofia. Alex still needs to confirm her childcare plans and lay out the outfit she’ll wear to the hospital as a brand-new big sister. That may be the smallest line on the checklist, but it’s definitely one of the sweetest!
Baby boy is due on September 21, so the countdown is very much on. First, though: a name, a nursery, a stroller, several thank-you notes…and perhaps another list! 😂
