It was a big year for Ree and her crew!
If you followed along with the Drummonds in 2025, you already know it was a full year! There were lots of big milestones and even more small, ordinary moments that end up meaning just as much. Wedding season alone could've been its own mini-series: there was Paige and David's couples' shower, Paige's official shower with just the ladies, and the fun Charleston bachelorette weekend with Alex and Paige's friends. That was all leading up to the main event—a stunning ranch wedding with the whole family (plus a pretty awesome after-party)!
And then there was Sofia, who changed the lives of everyone (in the best possible way). She had her first Easter on the ranch, attended her first rodeo, had a cooking lesson with Ree, celebrated multiple magazine moments, started to crawl, and had so many more exciting firsts. Then—suddenly!—she was turning one. It's wild how fast that happened!
What makes the year so fun to look back on, though, isn’t just the big headlines. It's the in-between: Ree celebrating a birthday surrounded by her kids, Ladd surprising her on book tour, Todd embracing his fun-uncle role, Bryce sharing a quick glimpse of ranch life, and everyone squeezing in a family trip where some people ski, others don't, but everybody eats. 😂

Celebrating Ree's Birthday
Ree’s birthday came with the best kind of attention: her kids popping up on Instagram with photos and little notes (including a hospital throwback from Sofia’s arrival). There were football-game pics, a sweet engagement photo, and at least one scenic outdoor shot that looked like it belonged on a Christmas card.
Paige and David's Fun Couples' Shower
Paige and David had a big couples’ shower weekend with friends and family packed in and baby Sofia even tagged along! (No idea what was going on, but she was there. 😂) Ree shared a bunch of photos and admitted she felt emotionally wiped out afterward—in a good way!
Paige's Charleston Bachelorette Weekend
Paige headed to Charleston with a lot of bridesmaids, and the pictures were all balloons, cute dresses, and that excitement you get when the wedding is getting close! (Ree stayed home with Ladd picking up sticks after a windstorm and lived for the updates.)
Sofia's First Magazine Moment
Sofia "reacted" to seeing herself in The Pioneer Woman magazine while she sat in her rocker and hiccuped in approval. Alex flipped right to the nursery spread and George was nearby doing his usual supervisory duties.
Sofia's First Easter
Sofia’s first Easter on the ranch was bunny-filled, love-filled, and complete with spring rain and biscuits and gravy (which Ree said pretty much finished everyone off). There was church in the same little place the Drummond kids grew up going to, plus plenty of baby snuggles between cattle-working shifts.
Paige and David Get Married on the Ranch
Paige and David got married right there on the ranch, under an Oklahoma sunset Paige has seen her whole life. The day had flowers, family everywhere, and a whole lot of dancing once the celebration got rolling!
Paige and David's Honeymoon
After a small passport hiccup, Paige and David made it to Costa Rica and did honeymoon the right way: beach views, sunset photos, and total decompression.
Alex's First Mother's Day
Alex hit her first Mother’s Day with Sofia, and Mauricio marked it with a really sweet tribute. This new mama deserved every word of it!
Ree and Ladd's 29th Anniversary
Ree and Ladd celebrated 29 years with a mix of present-day and throwback photos (including a wedding-day one that will make you do math in your head). They were in different states for the actual day, but Ree’s already talking about doing something big for number 30—possibly Europe!
Bryce is Back on the Ranch
Bryce shared a rare little ranch update: him on horseback at sunrise, riding through tall golden grass. He kept the caption simple, because the view was doing most of the work!
Todd is the Ultimate 'Fun Uncle'
Todd has fully embraced being Uncle Todd—down on the floor with Sofia and her toys, smiling like he’s got nowhere else to be. Alex confirms what everyone suspected: both her brothers bring major “fun uncle” energy!
Ladd Surprises Ree on Her Book Tour
In the middle of Ree’s book tour, Ladd literally hopped on stage at her Pawhuska event and joined the conversation! Such a fun moment from a special event for her new book.
Thanksgiving at the Ranch
Thanksgiving was the usual mix of chaos and cozy—Ree admitted she didn’t really start prepping until Tuesday, then Paige came in from working cattle and got handed a knife and cutting board. There was also a late-night Lodge run for a missing turkey roaster, and a quick outdoor family photo (with the dogs thrilled to be included, of course).
The Family Goes to Vail
The Vail trip felt like Ree’s version of a postcard: lots of walking, lots of eating, and Sofia as the main attraction wherever they went. Ladd stayed home feeding cattle, Todd was off on his own ski trip, and Ree got plenty of "Ree Ree and Sofia" time—right down to the snowsuit debates and the random, very cute dinner photos.
Sofia Turns One
Sofia turning one was the sweetest celebration! The family kept it small while they were in Vail. Ree planned to make a cake, didn’t quite pull it off (vacation kitchens will humble anyone), ordered a custom "smash cake" instead, and Sofia had a very unexpected reaction to the whole thing.
