The video is set to “American Pie” and pulls together a handful of adorable clips of Mauricio with Sofia, from the moment she was born to now, over a year later. You see him holding her close, playing with her, making her laugh, going on family walks, and doing whatever it takes to get a smile out of her—all while she looks back at him like she knows she has the best dad in the world. 🥹
The trend usually starts with a line about dads secretly hoping for a boy, then flips to what actually happens. In this case, it’s Mauricio fully in his element as a girl dad. And Sofia, now almost 16 months old, seems to have had him figured out for a while.
Alex shared the video with a caption that says everything she needed it to: “And now baby boy is on the way. 🥹😭🩵 but I will never forget this season of watching Mauricio be the sweetest bestest girl dad ever. He was made for this!!!!!”
