Can we all take a moment to appreciate baby Sofia’s summer glow-up?! (Or perhaps it’s more of a grow-up, since, you know, she’s a 1-year-old. 😂)
Alex Drummond shared the sweetest little throwback of Sofia from last summer next to a new photo from a recent lake trip, and the side-by-side is almost too much. In the first picture, Sofia is very much a tiny beach baby, sitting between two little friends in matching blue striped swimsuits, a pacifier in her mouth, and heart-shaped sunglasses on her face. Truly, the accessories were working overtime.
Then comes this year’s photo and suddenly there are five little ones lined up on the couch in matching green swimsuits, looking like a tiny summer camp! Sofia is right there in the middle, so much bigger than last year, with her little bow and the expression of someone who has places to go.
“Last year vs. this year,” Alex wrote, adding, “Will be at least 3 more additions next year! What a time.”
What a time, indeed!
Alex recently spent a few days at the lake with friends and their babies, and it looks like the group has grown right along with all the kids. Last summer, there were three babies in the photo. This year, there are five. By next year, the couch lineup may need a second row!
Of course, Alex and Mauricio Scott are expecting a baby boy this fall, so Sofia will have her own little addition to bring along for next summer’s group photo. That means more matching outfits, more wiggly babies, more attempts to get everyone looking in the same direction, and probably at least one grown-up making very strange noises behind the camera.
One summer they’re tiny babies in sun hats, and the next they’re lake kids with a whole crew. Alex said it best: “What a time.” ❤️
