May was quite the month for Alex Drummond and her family!
The Pioneer Woman’s daughter shared a sweet little May scrapbook on Instagram, and it was basically one big reminder that life with a toddler, a baby on the way, a golden retriever, and a very full family calendar is never boring.
“May was a good one 😌🤠💃☀️🌊🌷🌮🩵💕,” Alex wrote in the caption. “Bring on summertime!!!! (but hold the triple digits plz).” That last part is pretty specific to Dallas. Summer is fun and all, but triple digits? No thank you!
The photos showed a little bit of everything from Alex’s month, including time back on the ranch in Pawhuska with Mauricio and their golden retriever, George. There were also plenty of sweet moments with Sofia, who seems to be having the absolute time of her life lately. She played in a ball pit, sat by the pool in the cutest little sun hat, tagged along on family walks, and made a trip to Trader Joe’s, where she was surrounded by fresh flowers.
There were also some extra-special family moments tucked into the mix. Sofia spent time with her grandma Ree, also known as Ree Ree, and even took some of her very first steps with her! She also got lots of quality time with Aunt Betsy, Pa-Pa, Aunt Paige, Uncle Bryce and Todd, and a whole crew of little friends. One photo of Sofia hugging George might be the sweetest thing on the internet, but then again, the picture of her in a “Mama’s Girl” dress with a tiny bow in her hair gives it some serious competition.
Alex also included photos from a friend’s engagement celebration, pool days, golf cart rides, and a big group shot of the Drummond siblings with their spouses and significant others. (Or, as Ree has lovingly called the her kids’ boyfriends and girlfriends before, their “friends.” 😂)
Clearly, the family loved the May recap just as much as everyone else did.
“Beyond precious, every single pic. 😭 I’m so glad you were home for some of your May memories,” Ree commented. “What day will you be here in June? 😊”
Paige Drummond kept it short and very true: “Life is sweeter with Sofia!!!”
It sure looks that way. And with Alex now in her third trimester as she and Mauricio get ready to welcome their baby boy, this summer is shaping up to be one very sweet season for the whole family!
