At some point, the pregnancy produce comparisons go from cute little berries to an entire head of cabbage. That’s when you know things are getting real!
Alex Drummond recently shared a peek at her pregnancy tracker on Instagram, revealing that she had reached 30 weeks and one day with her baby boy. According to the app, he was about 16 inches long, weighed an estimated 3.4 pounds, and was roughly the size of a cabbage. And Alex could definitely tell!
“Yup it’s really starting to feel like I’ve got a full on baby in me 🤰,” she wrote over the photo.
She’s officially in the home stretch! Alex and Mauricio are expecting their second child in September, and Sofia will soon be promoted to big sister. The baby’s original due date is September 21—which also happens to be Ree and Ladd’s wedding anniversary—but Alex has previously shared that she may be induced a little earlier because of her blood-pressure history.
Thankfully, the updates so far have all been happy ones. Back in April, Alex said her anatomy scan “went perfect,” adding, “10 fingers 10 toes!” She later shared another sonogram that offered a sweet look at just how much her little guy had grown, including his profile, feet, and even a tiny flexed arm.
One detail is still up in the air, though: his name! Alex recently admitted that she and Mauricio were “still not even close” to choosing one and may arrive at the hospital with several options.
For now, baby boy remains nameless, healthy, growing—and apparently taking up about as much room as the produce section.
