If you’re a fan of Ree Drummond, you know she often talks about her favorite products from The Pioneer Woman collection at Walmart. After 11 years, she’s bound to have more than a few! Her current winner is the Agatha pattern, which graces everything from dinnerware to her brand-new home collection that just launched.
But have you ever wondered what her husband, Ladd, thinks? After all, Ree really does live with her entire collection in the house they share, so he’s bound to have an opinion. Well, lucky for us, Ree just shared what Ladd likes most from the new collection!
On her most recent Walmart livestream (which you can still watch if you missed it), a viewer asked Ree what Ladd’s favorite pieces were. Along with her daughter, Paige, they identified three items. First up, “the cowhide pillows, for sure,” Ree said. Made of real cowhide, each one is totally unique and really adds the perfect Western flair to any space. A cowboy’s dream!
Paige chimed in next with his second pick: the artwork. The new collection offers several options, either in sets or sold individually. They are all rustic, Western-inspired prints featuring landscapes, cows, and horses. Ree chose them so they could hang in any room of the house, and thankfully, since Ladd likes them, they are all over the house.
The last pick might surprise you, though! “You know what he loves? He loves the quilt,” Ree admitted. “He is very much into comfort.” After a long day working on a ranch, that makes total sense! Ree joked that they are “quilt layerers” and have a minimum of two on the bed and a third over their feet and legs. “Otherwise, we can’t sleep.”
There are actually several new options in the collection, but they both currently love the gauze quilts. “When I was younger, I just didn’t appreciate how wonderful the weight of a quilt is. And that was important when we were developing the quilts,” Ree explained. They’re the perfect mix of cozy and lightweight.
