Alex Drummond is holding these final just-the-two-of-us days a little tighter.
Now eight months pregnant with her baby boy, Alex shared a sweet Instagram reel looking back at the past year and a half with Sofia. The video moves through dozens of ordinary little memories: newborn snuggles, floor time, Christmas pajamas, sleepy cuddles, and Sofia slowly growing from a tiny bundled-up baby into the funny (and busy!) toddler she is now.
“You’ll never remember life without a sibling,” Alex wrote over the video. “But I’ll never forget all the days spent just the 2 of us 💕.” She set the montage to Taylor Swift’s “Daylight” and kept the caption just as simple: “My baby forever 💕😭.”
It’s a heartwarming update from Alex as she and Mauricio prepare for another big change at home. In just a few more weeks, Sofia will become a big sister, Alex and Mauricio will become parents of two, and their family of four will officially become a family of five—because George absolutely counts, too!
Alex has been open about feeling a little nervous about balancing a newborn with Sofia, especially after having so much one-on-one time with her first baby. She’s also shared plenty of excitement about watching the two siblings grow up close in age. For Sofia, life with a brother will quickly become the only version she knows. For Alex, though, these quieter days with her daughter will always belong to a very special chapter.
