From her claw-clip obsession to her precious first pigtails, Sofia already seems to understand the significant role that accessories play in the world of fashion. And her cutest new pieces don’t just elevate an outfit—they are the outfit (especially because said outfit is a single diaper! 😂).
In a handful of heartwarming new photos that Sofia’s mom, Alex Drummond, posted on her Instagram Story, Sofia looks untouchable running around the house decked out in her tiny pink accessories: a mini confetti-printed water bottle and a plush toy purse set (which she adorably calls an ‘urse’). “Busy!” Alex wrote alongside a snapshot of a shirtless Sofia carrying her matching pink must-haves with a big grin plastered on her face. In another picture of Sofia’s coordinating current favorites, while she’s on the move, her pink gear seems to give her an air of authority. “She’s got important business to attend to with her urse + agua bottle in tow 👛💅,” Alex joked.
The water bottle in question is an insulated stainless steel contraption that holds up to 14 ounces of liquid. With a pink top and a fun confetti-inspired pattern, the product is as darling as it is functional. And the purchase was inspired by Alex’s hydration habits. “Sofia has been loving drinking water from my water cup lately so I wanted to get her her own cute insulated cup,” Alex explained to her followers. “Saw a lot of people rave about this one from @shopsimplemodern. She loves it!!! 💕 Will be great for MDO.”
Alex shared a link to Sofia’s new water bottle, along with a footnote that the piece comes in “lots of cute prints.” The product page shows dozens of patterns, from delicate ribbons and blooming flowers to construction symbols and swimming sharks. And for just under $20, it’s such a steal!
As for her little pink purse set, it’s just as mesmerizing to Sofia. “She’s been obsessed with her ‘urse’ lately 🥹🥹👛🥰,” Alex admitted. Made by GUND, the same company that produces plush stuffed animals, the ultra-soft purse set comes with five pieces for only $27. The star of the show is, of course, the fuzzy pink purse, which says “My first purse” on the front. But inside, there are additional pillowy pink accessories: a cellphone, a credit car, car keys, and compact blush, so Sofia is getting a taste of the grown-up life. Aside from looking—in Alex’s words—“sooo cute,” the set is designed to stimulate the senses with its crinkling materials and sound-making elements, so it’s entertaining, too.
The purse set is another sweet example of Sofia’s talking journey and the heart-melting way she pronounces words. Just like she added her own toddler-inspired spin to her mom’s common phrase, “That’s so nice,” by sounding it out as “oh nice,” Sofia has been calling her new purse an “urse.”
