Alex Drummond is nearing the end of her second pregnancy and during a recent Instagram Q&A, one follower asked whether sheâs been experiencing mood swings. As usual, Alex didnât dress up her answerâor pretend Mauricio hasnât noticed.
âAsk Mauricio đđđ€Ș,â she wrote. âLetâs just say I havenât been an absolute delight these past couple of weeks.â
Alex said the mood changes seem to be coming from two things at once: the final stretch of pregnancy and the relentless Texas weather. âI think itâs the pregnancy combined with this freaking HEAT thatâs really sending me over the edge,â she added.
That tracks with the update Alex recently shared about her plans for the rest of summer. Now well into her third trimester, she joked that sheâll be âhibernating in the ACâ while she waits for her baby boy to arrive. Her due date is September 21, though she has previously explained that doctors may induce her earlier because of the blood-pressure issues she experienced while pregnant with Sofia.
The home stretch has brought a few other very honest admissions, too. Alex recently said sheâs craving extra self-care because so much about her body feels beyond her control, and sheâs been debating whether to try popular labor-prep rituals as the big day gets closer. She and Mauricio also still had nursery preparation and baby-name decisions on their list as of their latest updates.
For now, Alex appears to be handling the heat, the waiting, and the occasional mood swing with her usual sense of humor. Mauricio, meanwhile, may be the person to ask for the unedited version!
